P&G FABRIC CARE

EGD | DESIGN STRATEGY
Environmental graphic elements explore the identity of P&G Fabric Care in new and playful ways.

P&G is a brand trusted in millions of living rooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and bathrooms. They are committed to making peoples’ lives better in small but meaningful ways, everyday. With a long history, P&G has been an integral part of Cincinnati since its founding. Celebrating the individuality of a particular brand or brand group within P&G requires interpreting the larger corporate equity within the context of the brand. Our large-scale environmental graphic designs for P&G Fabric Care’s offices were an opportunity to express their identity in new and playful ways.

Our solution centered around the idea of bringing the tapestry of what this department does to life.

Large-scale “mesh” screens inspired by fabric announce the brand group at each elevator lobby. Fabric image murals anchor huddle spaces and create nodes throughout the floor. Colors, patterns and carefully selected photographic images express corporate equity and bring unity to the environmental design.

The result is a fun, playful interpretation of this brand within a brand. It maintains the equity of the P&G corporate identity while giving life to this sub brand. Bright colors and exaggerated fabric graphics give a sense of levity for employees.
