Environmental graphics, interactive design, and custom sculpture makes the experience at Battelle Labs memorable and exciting.
Battelle is the world’s largest nonprofit research and development organization. Their tagline is “The Business of Innovation.” In branding the lobby and cafeteria of their global headquarters, we worked towards design solutions that embodied innovation. As a global leader in science, it was important for the environmental design elements to reflect and celebrate this prowess. Main features like a large, interactive lobby display and custom corporate sculpture offer informative visual celebrations of the company’s global position.

With innovation in mind, we created an experience for Battelle Labs that is unlike any other. Hidden projectors, custom lighting treatments, and other design tricks gave our solution a perceived futuristic feel.

One-of-a-kind, interactive design installation tracks users with branded animation and provides visitors with a wealth of information about Battelle Labs. The lobby also features an interactive design and video installation that has 4 modes. A “sleep mode” plays a subtle animation at 5’ tall by 30’ wide.

Throughout the building, our design features monumentalize science in an abstract way. This abstraction is perfectly captured by the enormous, 3000-pound steel molecule sculpture.

Experiential graphic design components create colorful and bright spaces for this special P&G "think tank" department.
P&G is a brand trusted in millions of living rooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and bathrooms. They are committed to making peoples’ lives better in small but meaningful ways, everyday. With a long history, P&G has been an integral part of Cincinnati since its founding. Celebrating the individuality of a particular brand or brand group within P&G requires interpreting the larger corporate equity within the context of the brand.
