Carlisle & Finch Co. has been designing and manufacturing state-of-the-art searchlights for over 130 years.

They continue to be a world leader in searchlight technology and are a true Cincinnati icon. In 2019, we designed an award-winning Customer Experience Center (CXC) for them that shined a light on their legacy and illuminated their incredible story–literally and figuratively.

Now? They’ve called us back for Part Two–and we couldn’t be more excited. This next chapter builds on the Carlisle & Finch Visitor Experience, and we’re taking it to a whole new level. Think: a behind-the-scenes journey through the heart of C&F, where visitors step right into the action. Visitors will be guidied through the pristine workshop floor where custom-built digital kiosks highlight the departments, tools, and craftmanship that powers C&F. Interactive touch displays will bring over a century of history and innovation to life, guiding visitors through a rich digital archive dating back to C&F’s founding in the 1890s.

And we’re not stopping there. Guests will also get a hands-on look at today’s cutting-edge tech and searchlight systems plus, a few unexpected moments designed to spark curiosity and smiles–let’s just say… Elvis has officially entered the building.
